Toko Inc. was founded in 1955 as Toko Radio Coil Laboratory. Less than one year later, we introduced the industry's first intermediate frequency transformer (IFT) coil, helping to make the transistor radio possible. Toko widespread electronics technology spans many fields of technical expertise, and this has allowed a diversification into integrated circuits, magnetic, electro-ceramics, RF and power module design. As more products were introduced, the company changed its name to Toko Inc. in 1964.
